It is also the portal that they use to input the scores that are turned in as a result of sanctioned 6 POCKET competitions and official handicapping sessions.

How was 6 POCKET conceived?

6 POCKET was conceived by Mr. Richard (Dick) E. Clark. Dick is an avid billiards player, but was never satisfied with the games that were available to play in competition, or the scoring systems that were used to determine the winners of those games and how handicaps were established.

He felt that if a new game could be developed that pitted the player against the table instead of a competitor, then the winner was always the best player at the table.

He also reasoned that playing this way would support a simple handicapping formula that allowed recreational players to compare themselves against the best players in the world.

What is the Level Play Handicapping System?

The Level Play Handicapping System is the process through which the 6 Pocket League and the Amateur 6 Pocket Association ranks it's Members in relationship to each other.

Like in other individual sports such as golf and bowling, the Level Play Handicapping System produces a "number" for each individual Member, for each table size allowed in regulation play. This number, when added each individual's rack score for a specific turn, produces that player's turn score.

What is an Official Level Play Handicapping Session?

From time to time our Sanctioned Facilities hold "Officia lLevel Play Handicapping Sessions". These are marshalled 6 POCKET games/competitions which produce scorecards that are eligible for use in calculating individual Level Play handicaps.

When included with the scores that result from weekly competitions and other sanctioned events, these session scores help to produce a more meaningful and accurate Level Play handicap for the individual League Member.

What is a Sanctioned Facility?

Sanctioned Facilities are generally entertainment facilities that offer billiards. Once sanctioned, these facilities are the only ones that can hold Sanctioned 6 POCKET Competitions and Official Level Play Handicapping Sessions. These are the only cases in which the player's resulting scores can be submitted for Level Play handicapping purposes.

How does my facility get sanctioned?

It's easy and for the first 6 months, IT'S ABSOLUTLEY FREE! If you want to learn how, just click here!

How can I invest in 6 Pocket, Inc. ?

You can call, write, or send an e-mail to the Investor Relations Specialist listed on the Contact Us page of the site.

How is 6 POCKET Played?

6 POCKET is a called shot billiards game played on a regulation billiard table using 15 object balls and a cue ball, in which each player – be they individuals (male or female), or comprised of teams – has the same opportunity to win. This equal opportunity exists because each player competes against a field of opponents, rather than a single opponent.

This is accomplished by the players taking turns playing a single 15 ball rack and trying to pocket as many balls as possible from their rack until they either miss, scratch (except on the break), commit a foul, or pocket all of the balls from their rack, thus ending their turn.

How do you establish a Level Play handicap?

Your Level Play handicap is calculated by the 6 Pocket League based on scores that have been turned in by Sanctioned Facilities and which were the result of either a sanctioned 6 POCKET competition, or an official 6 POCKET Level Play handicapping session.

How can I track my Level Play handicap?

One of the central features of the 6 Pocket League web-site is that it provides a complete Level Play Handicap Management page for you to use when verifying that your scores are being turned in, checking your Level Play Handicap, analyzing how you rank locally and nationally, and much more.

How do I know if a facility is sanctioned?

Each Sanctioned Facility is provided with several items they can use to announce they are sanctioned. These include signs for their doors and/or windows, and posters for the inside of their facility. So look for the 6 Pocket League logo and the words "Officially Santioned 6 Pocket League and Handicapping Facility".

Your 6 Pocket League web-site also includes a handy tool to allow you to easily find sanctioned facilities in any geographic area.

What do Sanctioned Facilities do for me?

Each Sanctioned Facility has been carefully selected to provide a high-quality environment in which to play 6 POCKET.

Your Sanctioned Facility not only provides a regular schedule of 6 POCKET Competitions and Official Level Play Handicpping Sessions, they are also responsible for making sure that all of your eligible scores are being submitted to the Level Play Handicapping System.

Is there a list of Sanctioned Facilities?

Yes! Your 6 Pocket League web-site includes a very useful tool for finding a Sanctioned Facility in any geographic area. This tool utilizes a state-of-the-art geographic browser to quickly identify where, and when, you can play.

When does a Sanctioned Facility hold 6 Pocket Competitions and/or Official Level Play Handicapings Sessions?

Since the 6 Poket League is focused to the individual rather than teams, the Sanctioned Facilities have a great deal of flexibility for when, and how often, they can offer 6 POCKET Competitions and/or Level Play Handicapping Sessions.

Each facility uses its listing on the 6 Pocket League web-site to provide a schedule of when competitions and/or handicapping sessions are being offered along with any other announcements they may chose to make.

TURNS - Individuals (or teams) can compete by playing single racks of 15 object balls. The player is awarded points for each ball legally pocketed from their single rack. The total points, when netted with their handicap, comprise a 6 POCKET turn.

The winner of a turn is determined using a universally defined scoring and handicapping system, and only after all of the individuals/teams have had their chance to play one (1) rack of 15 object balls.
